Cancellation Policy

Appointments for a Home Inspection can be scheduled with a $100.00 deposit. Additionally, the total agreed price must be paid in total at least 24 hours before the Inspection. Cancellations must be made with at least 24 hours in advance. It’s your responsibility to make sure the other parties are ready for the inspection on the agreed time and date. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged 50% of the home inspection fee. The cancellation policy will be enforced due to the following reasons:

  • To be respectful of everyone’s time
  • When people have a financial obligation they are less likely to cancel on short notice, forget and not be accountable/price shop
  • There are costs associated with every business hour.
  • Scheduling, when an appointment is booked it prevents others from booking that same slot, so a cancellation will cause a loss of scheduling time unless someone else books that exact time after the cancellation
  • Unfortunately some people will cancel repeatedly.

 

Some exceptions can be made on a case by case basis.
